DON'T JUST TALK ABOUT NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL.

I'M IN IT…meet The Non-league network

As CMO of The Non-League Network, I'm helping grow a platform built around the people who make non-league football happen.

Clubs. Players. Coaches. Volunteers. Supporters. Businesses.

My role crosses commercial partnerships, content, podcasts, audience growth, new ideas and getting out into clubs to understand the game from the people living it.

Because the best way to build something for non-league football is to actually be part of it.

THE TITLE IS CMO.

THE WORK IS A LOT BROADER.

I didn’t join The Non-League Network to sit behind a job title.

I got involved to help build it.

Since joining, that has meant creating content, interviewing people across the game, developing commercial opportunities, growing the audience, visiting clubs, building relationships and helping shape new ideas for where the Network goes next.

PODCASTS.

PEOPLE.

CONVERSATIONS.

I’ve interviewed players, coaches, club leaders and people working across football, not just to create content, but to understand the game through the people actually living it.

Careers. Coaching. Leadership. Player pathways. Player care. Club culture. The realities behind the final whistle.

Different people. Different stories. One game connecting them.

YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND CLUBS

FROM BEHIND A SCREEN.

So I go to clubs.

I talk to the people actually running them. The volunteers. The supporters. The people behind the bar, on the gate, around the pitch and doing the jobs most people never see.

At Deal Town, I went for the football ON NON LEAGUE DAY!

I came away with stories about the people behind it.

That matters to me because if The Non-League Network is going to create useful content, partnerships and opportunities for clubs, we need to understand what life inside those clubs actually looks like.

DON'T JUST TALK ABOUT THE GAME.
GO AND MEET THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

BUILDING AN AUDIENCE.

NOT JUST COLLECTING FOLLOWERS.

When I joined The Non-League Network, part of the job was simple: get more people to know it exists.

So I started talking.

Stories from clubs. Podcasts. People. Opportunities. Partnerships. Questions. Opinions. The things happening across non-league football that are worth sharing.

And people started listening.

The Network's LinkedIn community has now grown beyond 1,000 followers but the number isn't really the point.

The point is building an audience that talks back, shares, connects and becomes part of the Network.
